got 42.5 for chem
which was pretty expected
but overall shld be able to pass
55 for econs
also not a surprise

it's comforting to see that the economy is improving
share prices are bouncing back
and with the G7 and G20 countries giving it all out to aid this world crisis
this state of recession will end before we know it.

anyway,
got back my gp p1 and physics tday
i got 18/50 for essay
so gp for sure fail.
physics i got 43/70.
so overall, i still have to depend on my 3 h2 subjects.

i shall be random and talk abt world issues.

the wall street crash has brought abt lots of financial crisis.

some background:
Lehman Bros is bankrupt
Merril Lynch is bought over by BofA
and many other firms in need of help now
even Singapore is not spared from this financial crisis
from what i heard from my dad, the Sg govt has announced that we're in a state of recession

however,
with all those concerted efforts by different govts to resolve this economic crisis
it's certainly evident that the economy is improving
though still as insignificant compared to the crash
funnily enough,
this(the Wall Street crash) has been predicted by Warren Buffett

anyway,
my point is this
i find myself wondering why ppl are rushing to close their insurance policies after this happened
especially AIG
yes, if the company goes bankrupt thn they cant get a single cent
so they'd rather close it to get part of their money back now
but dont they trust the govt?
by doing so they'll just cause the company make further losses
as a result, it'll still be in a financial crisis
but it's extremely comforting to see that others are still holding on to their policies
some even buying new ones

the truth is,
everybody plays a part in the world's economy
every single one of us
no matter how small the role is.
i'm not asking u to buy more policies
but hold on to the current ones
the govts are alr trying their best to resolve this crisis
much effort are noticable from the 7 major countries
if we dont trust the govts?
who else can we trust?

these are just my feelings
feel free to comment on this issue
